Licensed Property Tax Consultant (Residential)

Overview

If you like advocating for people, building a strong case, and winning with facts, this is your job. You will represent homeowners in informal reviews and ARB hearings, translate valuation details into a clear argument, and push for fair outcomes with ethical, compliant representation.

Minimum experience

2+ years in residential property tax appeals, appraisal, valuation, or closely related work.

Licensing requirement

Active Texas Property Tax Consultant registration (TDLR) required, unless you qualify for a lawful exemption. Must follow applicable TDLR rules and continuing education requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Review notices, district comps, equity grids, and valuation methods for accuracy and weaknesses.
  • Identify the best reduction angle including market sales, equity, condition, or incorrect characteristics.
  • Build concise, defensible evidence packets that are hearing-ready.
  • Lead informal negotiations and prepare escalation strategy for ARB when needed.
  • Represent clients in ARB hearings professionally and persuasively.
  • Track outcomes by county and create feedback loops to improve future cases.
  • Document case notes, hearing outcomes, and lessons learned for playbooks and training.

Property Valuation Analyst (Comps and Evidence)

If you like numbers and crunching numbers, this is your job. You will dig into comparable sales, spot patterns, validate property facts, and turn data into simple evidence that makes sense fast.

Minimum experience

1+ year in real estate analysis, appraisal support, underwriting, comps research, or similar.

Preferred tools

Excel or Google Sheets, MLS or comps tools, basic GIS knowledge. Bonus: SQL basics.

Responsibilities

  • Pull and validate comparable sales and supporting data for subject properties.
  • Select the most relevant comps based on proximity, time, size, condition, and market similarity.
  • Note adjustment factors and explain them in plain language when needed.
  • Detect red flags like incorrect living area, missing features, or inaccurate condition.
  • Draft short evidence summaries that explain the reduction logic clearly.
  • Quality-check packets for consistency, formatting, and defensibility.
  • Track what evidence types work best by county and feed insights back into templates.

Customer Support Specialist (Homeowner Success)

Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound questions via email, chat, and occasional phone follow-ups.
  • Explain timelines, evidence requirements, and what to expect in simple language.
  • Guide users through account setup, address matching, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Triage complex issues and escalate with clear notes and context.

  • Build product features from UI to API with strong attention to usability.

  • Build ingestion pipelines and normalization logic for multi-source property datasets.
  • Create data quality checks for missing values, schema drift, duplicates, and outliers.

Overview

If you like storytelling, testing ideas, and watching metrics move because of your work, this is your job. You will create content, run referral promotions, and experiment with ads and landing pages to help more Texans discover TurboProtest™.

Minimum experience

1+ year in marketing, content, social media, or growth operations.

Preferred tools

Canva, Meta Ads basics, Google Analytics (GA4), UTMs, email or SMS tools.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule content for Instagram, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn.
  • Create short-form video hooks, scripts, and stat-based creatives.
  • Execute referral promotions and track referral performance.
  • Support paid campaigns with new creatives, copy, and landing page alignment.
  • Track CTR, conversion rate, CAC, and basic funnel performance.
  • Coordinate with support to turn FAQs into content that converts.
  • Run lightweight A/B tests and summarize learnings weekly.
